It ended up as an update and improvement to the predicted off-axis response with a few other small changes to the UI. When checking the code I saw a couple of other things that I didn't like related to the off-axis response results. This began as a simple bug fix based on a report from a user. When the polar plots are complete, the original mic location is reset, so if you were investigating an off-axis point, the last point location entered won't be lost. To go along with the polar plotting calculations the current mic-to-driver angles are all updated on the main form (System tab) as the calculations are being made. If this plot could be shown in 3-D you would see the surface of a hemisphere The new text boxes show the concentric circle angle being plotted on the left with each rotation angle within that concentric circle, also incremented by 5 degrees, shown on the right. The one thing that you can't do is change any of the circuits or drivers during this time because that would normally trigger a new calculation that would interfere with the polar plot calculations. You can close the polar plot window at any time to cancel it. You can open new windows and move or close any of them. Any time the polar plot window is making calculations, the user can manipulate other windows. Making the UI responsive during the time required quite a bit of refactoring of the code, but I'm pleased with the result.
