you won't be "installing ASIO again" with the fast track. Just to clarify, you didn't download an ASIO driver - you downloaded ASIO4ALL which is a WDM wrapper. Anyway, I did find the link to the Windows 7 driver on the M-audio website. I'm looking forward to geting some recording done. Man, you'd think I'm trying to write the friggin William Tell Overture here. It took me a while to get the UCG to work and get the right settings.

I'm sort of skeptical to install ASIO again and mess with the settings. It didn't work, the only way I got it to work was to set the driver mode to WDM/KS and then I had loads of latency but fixed that with the buffer size.

Hopefully you can update the M-Audio fast track driver successfully by following the tips here. If the file is in zip format, you need to upzip the file first, then double-click the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver. If the file is in exe format, just double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
